One day we went over the mom and dad's house and cleaned out Mike's old truck. We snapped a couple of pictures of Nathan in the truck because he was too cute not to take a picture off.
Nathan also got to play with his food quite a bit (see the spaghetti pic) which he always seemed to enjoy.

Pretty soon, it was Nathan's Birthday!! Our little boy was turning ONE!!! Grandmom and Grandpop Kent came down for the big event. The day off his birthday, I fixed the boy a wonderful breakfast of french toast and bananas (Nathan's favorite fruit) and dressed him in his "Born a Yankee, but a Rebel at Heart" t-shirt. Then we went to the Downtown Library to see a puppet show and then home for a quick nap before the PARTY!!!

At the party we had lots of food (pot luck style) and of course Adult drinks , you see we were throwing a "Yeah, Nathan is one and Yeah, we survived" Party, :) It was just a small party at our apartment, with close friends and family, everybody had a great time and Nathan had a blast playing with all his friends, family, new toys and the tissue paper and ribbons. And he really enjoyed eating his funfetti cake with chocolate icing and lots of decoration. Needless to say the boy slept very well that night.

The next day Nathan got to spend a little more time with his Yankee grandparents when the babysat for Mike and I while he went out to catch a movie.
A couple of days later, Mike and I took Nathan to the Chattanooga. First we went to the Chattanooga Nature Center we got to see some red wolves, crows, a bobcat, some eagles and an owl. Nathan enjoyed looking at everything and climbing on the rocks.

We ate lunch at Sticky Fingers (yum yum ribs) and we all had a great lunch. Then we went to the Chattanooga Aquarium we Nathan got to see some butterflies, otters, penguins and most importantly Fish!! Nathan loves to look at fish, so much so that for his birthday I made him a blanket with fish on it.
Nathan a wonderful time looking at all the fish, he really got excited about it. And so ended a beautiful day and month!
