Of course there was New Year's Eve, during the day we spent the day as a family just messing around. Then in the evening he went over to my mom and dad's to spend the night with him. Mike and I went out with a few friends, I was the DD even though we pretty much walked from bar to bar, and gagged on some of the entry fees to get into some places but we found other places to go, :)
The rest of the month Nathan spent going to his Mother's day out program and the rest of the time home with me. Finding things to do during the winter is hard, most of the time we would go to the Cool Springs Mall and play there. And the random warm and weird 70 degree something days we would go to the park. But a lot of time was spent at the house playing games, reading books and playing with all the toys and well chasing cats, can't forget that. I would usually find stuff for Nathan to do and sometimes (rarely) I would tire him out! One time so much so that he fell asleep while eating dinner!

But during the times that dad was home is when things would get wild, :)! The boys would dance around the room and really have a blast.

Then other times Nathan would put on daddy's shoes (sometimes mine) and try to walk around the house, which was very funny

Nathan was turning two this year (Jan 26) so I decided we should do something fun! So since Nathan really likes fish we went to the StingRay Reef at the Opry Mills mall. There he got to touch the stingray, see lots of fish, and ride the carousel! We only had my parents, Mike's parents, and two friends of mine that have kids (both around age 5) that came to the reef.

Afterwards we went to the food course so we could eat lunch, the kids could have cupcakes and juice and of course open presents. We had a few more friends show up for the cupcake part and I think that all the kids had a good time (All three of them, lol) But everything was fish themed, the cupcakes had blue icing with fish sprinkles, the goody bags had lots of fish themed toys and candy in them, and of couse we went to see the fish!

Later that day we all went to my folks house for a winter cook-in. All the adults got to drink, except me :( (pregnant remember) and Nathan had a blast showing off for everyone.
The next day Nathan went to MDO and took some cupcakes to share and then we spent some more time with Mike's parents before they were due to leave the next day and later in the evening we ate fried chicken, so southern :), and had a cake for Nathan to sing happy birthday.

The rest of the week went by normally. Which was of couse nice :)
