Nathan was busy with his Mother's day out program on Mondays and Wednesdays. They made a very cute Thanksgiving themed place mat which Nathan got to bring home. On other days we would go to the park to play, wander aimlessly around the mall, or stay inside the house. It all depended on how the weather played out.
When the election was finally over we watched the acceptance speech and Nathan was really having fun with all the clapping and screaming that was going on on the TV. As you can see he was right there in it, :)

For my birthday we spent the day with Nathan and then Mike and I went out later with some friends, but before that we had to have lots of cake to eat. YUM!

Nathan usually gets free rein of the living areas but sometimes he gets put back in his pen when we have some other things to do. He is always really good about entertaining himself, i.e. sticking blocks in his shirt.

Before Thanksgiving we went to the Opryland hotel to help my mom and another fellow teacher friend of hers decorate a Special Olympics Christmas tree in the Hall of Trees. It is kinda like an Auction on the Christmas trees to raise money for whatever foundation, event, or random other thing people want to put up trees for.

After we finished with the tree we all went for a ride on the little train that they had there for the kids.

Right before Thanksgiving Nathan went to stay with my mom and dad for a night because I went to Altanta with a friend to go see the Madonna concert. We had a really good time staying up rocking most of the night and the crashing until we had to get up to drive home the next morning.

For Thanksgiving we went down to my grandparents Charleston's house and Nathan got to see all his aunts, uncles and cousins. He really enjoyed running around with the cousins that are closer to his age (instead of us old folks, lol)

We got to eat a big Thanksgiving feast and enjoyed opening all our presents from everyone.
