October was a really fun month. Nathan and I kept busy spending time outside since it was really nice most of the month. The first weekend of the month we went to the Culture Festival in Centennial Park. He had fun looking at all the booths and especially banging on the drums.
Later that day we went to visit my friend Laura and her puppy dog Nutmeg. Nathan always enjoys playing with Nutmeg and he really likes to play in her kennel.

This year I made Nathan's costume and he was a scarecrow. These were taken on the day he tried it on.
On the 11th we took a train ride to see all the fall leaves in middle tn. Nathan and Mike had a really good time riding the train and looking out the windows.
Every now and then we like to do Nathan's hair while he is in the bath tub.
On the 19th we went to the music and molasses fest as a family. Nathan had a fun time playing in the kid area, visiting all the horses and listening to the bluegrass music.
On the 23rd we went to one of our mom's groups halloween party and Nathan had a good time playing with his friends and building blocks with daddy.
Later that day we all went to the pumpkin patch where Nathan enjoyed running through the hay maze, picking out a pumpkins, playing in the kid area, and riding the hay ride.
On the 30th we all went over to my moms house to carve pumpkins. Nathan enjoyed digging in the pumpkins and pulling out all the seeds and guts.
.On Halloween we went over to my friend Laura's to trick or treat in her neighborhood. We went trick or treating with my mom and dad and my friend Amber and her daughter. He had a good time but he got tired very quickly. But he got a good hoard of candy and even sat with Laura and passed some candy out. Overall Nathan had a great time going trick or treating for the first time.
