For Valentines Nathan and I made little heart Valentines which I cut out and he decorated with stickers, glitter and colored on. These we gave out to his Mother's Day Out class and sent to the grandparents. Nathan is very creative and will focus on that one thing that I give him, but he is also fiercely independent and never wants any help.
My folks took Nathan for Valentines Day so that Mike and I could spend the day and evening together. We went shopping at Whole Foods and got some stuff for fondue that we were doing at home. It was good.
The next day Nathan and Mike went to the train show we they had a blast doing male bonding by looking at all the trains. (I was perfectly happy staying at home ) There was a little kid area where Nathan had a good time playing with all the little toy train.
The rest of the month was slow and busy at the same time. Mike and I started spending a few weekends looking at houses since we were planning to become homeowners in the near future.
This is Nathan being cute!
